Turning 30

When you're 15 you think of 30 years mark as of something far and unreal, and people of this age seem old and hopeless.
But when you reach it yourself, you get surprised how young you feel and what a nonsense all these 'aniversaries'. I have enrite life ahead and don't feel any older than 20 years back.

And I'd like to thank you all for your attention to my blog and your kind support - it's just one more thing that makes my life brighter.

Manezhnaya Square

So I got a new job a couple weeks back, and it occupies the chief of my time nowadays. My husband reproach me for neglecting this blog, and even I feel guilty on the subject. Nevertheless, I believe I'll be able to pay more attention to this site. But I always hope for best.

Anyway, this is a photo of Manezhnaya Square which adjoins Alexandrovsky Garden (which is by Kremlin wall). I took this picture on my lunch break 'cause my new office is located in the very center of the city.

Botanical Garden (wedding)

On my walk to Botanical Garden I was bold enough to photograph one of the numerous wedding party who come here for a session after their registration. No wonder! For who can resist such picturesque a landscape as a background for wedding photos?!

Independence Day

Today is a public holiday in Russia - the Independence Day (from whom, I wonder?). Since this week-end is 4 days long, most people went out of city so Moscow was empty and sleepy today. I hardly met a dozen people when I went for a short walk, and even pigeons looked lazy.
This cat, who occupied an abandoned shop-booth, was definetely at his ease.

I didn't entertain you with stories lately so now it's time to say some words. Well, the main - and the worst - piece of news is that no summer granted for Moscow this year. Today is 8h (eighth!!!) of June and my weather station informs me that the temperature outside is but +11C. Couldn't make myself go out, stayed home and took a lot of hot tea.

Yesterday we had enother case of 'Black Saturday' because of coming public holiday: 12th of June is Independence Day in Russia so next weekend will be 4 days long but this week we have only Sunday to ourselves. Anyway, this working Saturday didn't affect me for I'm unemployed at the moment.

And, finally, about this photo: I found those duckies in the nearest park and thought them very cute.
