Kolomenskoe



Kolomenskoe is a conservancy area within Moscow. It contains a number of landmarks and a beautiful park on the bank of Moscow river. First mentioned in 1339, Kolomenskoe was a summer residence of Russian rulers unless legitimates moved to Petersburg four centures later. There are several special things about this former estate, and one of them is the church you see in the picture.
