Spiridonovka Street

Spitidonovka street (Google map) in the centre of Moscow. You can walk it from the beginning to the end in half hour, yet you can spend the whole day browsing through the historical and architectural buildings-masterpieces.
Spiridonovka started in the beginning of 16th century and that time was called "Goat's bog", as the place was very full with wild goats. People started taming the goats and provided wool for the needs of Ivan the Terrible's court.
The building detail I show today belongs to the oldest building at the street, dated 1682,  "Chambers of Grenade Yard",
I will show more of Spiridonovka in my future posts, it is full of history and beauty.
