New Year's trees are popping up around the city. This one is in Red Square (note the History Museum in the background). It's been constructed, but not decorated yet! The long strands of lights are laid out on the ground to the left of the tree. Soon they'll be hung up on the tree and shining brightly! The crane in the picture is being used to construct the ice skating rink. Oh how I love the holiday season :)
