I was driving the car along Izmailovsky street when suddenly saw gold shining behind the trees, so I stopped and went to investigate.

Petrol Pump from the Past

This petrol pump is located in the heart of the city, at Volkhonka. It keeps the design of 1930ties and always stays empty. I discovered it on my way to art exhibition and googled for the details later: only once in a while the Kremlin government cars are allowed here to get fuel, admission by pass.

The direction?

Yesterday I walked along the quiet yard and saw three chairs with a past, turned in one and same direction.
I am sure these are the usual places of three buddies, enjoying warm summer evenings. But where are the chairs directed? Maybe listening to the birds singing on the old tree? Or watching beautiful blonde at the balcony of 4th floor?

Balconies

I spotted these balconies while walking along Tverskoy Boulevard.
Very creative, and they certainly give the building a bit of character!
