Tretiakov Art Gallery
Photos from my trip to Tretiakov's art gallery. Thank you, Mr. Tretiakov for this treasure house!
Part of Vasnetsov's preparatory sketches. The original can be admired in upper part of Vladimirsky church in Kiev, Ukraine.
I looked into these faces, one by one. Suddenly I turned around and realized that all this people were looking back at me (and you!), from the 18th century.

Chairs in the entrance way of Mayakovsky museum.
If you are in Moscow this museum is a "must-see". Avant-garde of early years of Soviet Union in futuristic architecture, decoration, works of art.
Info.
Map.
Babushkas, garde-robe staff, are sitting on normal chairs reading their papers, I checked.

Broken Window
And how you make repair of broken windows?
Here in Moscow, we do it exclusively by art works!
People who are richer, put instead of broken windows expensive paintings in gilt frames. And those who are poorer can do it with cheap reproductions.
Keep smiling and have a good thursday! :)

Paraskeva
Look at this ordinary yard in the center of the city. Old walls, concrete and bricks. Nothing special. And then suddenly one can notice the icon fixed to the door.
It is the icon of Paraskeva Piatnitsa, the street is named "Piatnitskaya" after her. She was killed during the persecution of Christians in the 3rd century.

Aloha!
Two days ago I was at the presentation of Hawaii dance class in "Open World" center of eastern practicies and self-development.
It was very relaxing and joyful experience. I think that the national dance is a great and detailed introduction into the mentality of the nation. Just compare person of Georgia and of Hawaii here. With my Georgian roots it was a nice challenge to put on the relaxing and peaceful Hawaiian clothes))).
Georgian:
And Hawaiian:
Cloudia, Aloha! Her blog "Comfort Spiral" is about Hawaii and is a must see.
If you are in Moscow, you can like to join the dance class or any other activity in "Open world" as it looks like rather busy and interesting place.
