Elite Mansion

"Elite mansion for sale/rent" is written on the banner, hanging on this brick building. Is anyone here interested to buy?

I am a bit in a hurry these days, please forgive me for not visiting your lovely blogs!

Sculptures

Albert Einstein and Nils Bor in Moscow outdoor sculpture museum.
I am not sure if they preferred tobacco pipes. I am not sure if they smoked at all. I also not so sure if there was any small possibility that they met in Moscow and had a conversation sitting on a bench. Their knees are shining, meaning(?) they also liked when people sat in their lap posing for photos.
And they look so funny. The sculptor has a sense of humour for sure.

And in this moment I decided to make a search for the author who made me laugh.
There are two of them, actually. Lemport and Silis.

Modern Russian artists. Worked together for more then 50 years. Started in the mid of 20th century. I enclose few works more, please enjoy. The sites where I took the photos of the works are in Russian only :-(

Advertising

This ad board I saw near the national restaurant, which is to the left. And the man at the photo wears national clothes.
I am still not sure if this guy in red pants invites to the restaurant or, on the contrary, advices to go away asap.... Plus, look at his billboard, that is how he looks like when he does not wear hat. No, he does not advice, he insists.

You Are Watched

I met this policeman while walking along the Piatnitskaya street (Google map for Luis:-), one of my favourite streets in the city. I plan to place more photos of this street so you will see it with my  stuck on it eyes.
The guy is guarding the entrance to the street (it starts between green and yellow buildings at the left), looks frozen but very attentive to the visitors. The view of the street and the clothes of the guardian refer to the times from the beginning of 20th century.

I decided to enclose the other photo for you, to get the full picture. Unfortunately this photo turned dark in my "professional" hands, so I had no courage to put it as a front page. But I am glad the soldier is not alone, he has a friend, the yard-cleaner (dvornik), who also is monitoring the street.

Frozen

Looks like he is not a big friend of the winter. I liked this face. It shows neither aggression nor passion to scare and to protect. Only the amazement that so much snow is all around him.
