Morozov's House at Vozdvizhenka

This building is inspired by Palácio Nacional da Pena, which future owner, Arseny Morozov and his friend, architect V.Mazirin saw during visit to Portugal. The building was completed in 1898 and was highly condemned  by Moscow inhabitants for clowning and challenge. Now it is the government meetings place, recently repaired and renovated. Its architecture completely differs from any other 19th century buildings in the center of the city and is a gem in Moscow collection.
