This caught my eye - it's the bottom of a lamp post. It says 850 Years of Moscow - and it was obviously created to commemorate this fact! It's 13 years old now, as this year Moscow will celebrate her 863rd birthday. Funny little things you can find as you walk the streets of this city... :)
