The Church of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Old Simonov
When I saw this church first time (not long ago), I was confused by this long passage leading to the building, made of concrete blocks painted white. The fence had simple explanation.
Actually, "Dinamo" is locate at church premises, as the first mention of the church is dated 1370.
The church was restored in 1980-1989 to celebrate the victory of 1380 over Mogul at Kulikovo pole.
Two my posts are linked to this church insides (here) and outsides (here).
