Elektrichka (local train) platform at Peredelkino
Last weekend I took advantage of the sunshine and mild temperatures and visited Peredelkino, a suburb about 30 minutes outside of Moscow. Many people have country houses here, and it's easy to see why - it's nice and quiet with a lot of nature. It's still fairly close to Moscow, but you definitely know you're not in the city anymore! It's the same place I found the little chapel I posted about last week (here). And for a little Russian lesson - the large sign says Peredelkino, the blue signs on the right say 'exit to city', and the red signs say 'no entrance'.
