Snowflakes

Today we had cold -20C (-4F) and clear day, the snowflakes looked like jewels on the window glass.

Few weeks ago I head the ecologist on the radio who was explaining that the shape of the snowflakes depends on the condition of the air and water in the region. Looks like the perfect symmetrical snowflakes of my ecology-friendly childhood are long gone. But they are still the pleasure for the eye.

And, as the snowflakes can not surprise anybody in the Northern hemisphere in February, I also add city photo of the day.
