Another photo from Victory Day, May 9. A veteran, and maybe his wife and son?
This is a very common sight - all of the veterans wear their uniforms heavy with medals on Victory Day, and they all walk around with bunches of flowers. It's a tradition for kids to give the veterans carnations, and I saw many adults giving flowers too. It's so sweet to watch the veterans interact with the kids.
