I took advantage of the beautiful weather we had here today to explore new (to me) parts of the city.
I had been here, the Donskoy Monastery, in the winter, but never in the spring. It looks so wonderful surrounded by green trees and a blue, cloudy sky. It's a very pink monastery - all the walls are this color, and so are a few of the churches, including the very large central one. I guess someone liked the color!
